Q: How long will it take to get my custom printed tape?

A: Most of our custom orders arrive within 25 days of ordering.

Here’s our standard timeline:

  • Order, Design, and Proof Approval: 1-3 Business Days
  • Custom Printing: 12-15 Business Days
  • Delivery: 1-5 Business Days via UPS Ground (rush options available)

Q: Can you bump me to the front of the line?

A: We operate on a strictly first come, first served basis. For the best results, please place your order 1 month in advance. If you’re in a bind, we’ll do our best to work with you. Please call (786) 328-3055 or shoot us an email at info@tapessupply.com for more information.

Q: How many colors can I include in my logo?

A: While we can print up to three colors, most customers prefer to stick to one or two. Due to our supply arrangements, a 3 color order requires a 5 case minimum investment. Also, there’s more of an opportunity for color bleed when you add multiple colors.

Q: Why does Pantone matching cost more?

A: With the Pantone Match System (PMS), we essentially have to create a custom new ink. The time and materials involved in that process require that we charge more than if you used one of our stock colors off the shelf.

Q: Can you print on colored tape?

A: The darker the film, the more your logo will be obscured. For that reason, we recommend against printing on colored tape.

Q: What about shading or halftones? Is that still considered one color?

A: Yes we can through use of screening.

Q: What kind of file type do you require to print?

A: Our online order form accepts .JPG, .PNG, .AI, .PSD, and .PDF files. For the best results, vector files are preferred.

Q: What kind of resolution do you require?

A: If you don’t have a vector file, then we’ll need a resolution of at least 300 dpi to achieve optimal results. If you’re not sure if your logo file is good enough, send it over anyway. If we feel your image is not of high enough quality, we will let you know before going to print.

Q: I’m having trouble uploading my file, but I still want to place an order.  What should I do?

A: Place the order online anyway. As long as you send us the file within 24 hours, you won’t lose your spot in line.
